Lisa Blankenship, LPC, CADC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor who works with adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families. I am passionate about helping clients reach their goals while creating space to explore their emotions, relationships, and lived experiences. I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
My Experience
I have experience working with individuals struggling with substance use and addiction, as well as clients facing concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship challenges, family conflict, life transitions, and emotional regulation. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I believe that growth happens through increased self-awareness, connection, and the development of healthy coping skills.
My Approach
My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to meet each client's unique needs. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they work toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
