Sariette Ngandjo Yepndjouo, PMHNP-BC
Hi, I’m Sariette or you can call me Sara.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and provide an integrative approach to care. I see medication as a helpful tool but one that works best in conjunction with mental health counseling, healthy lifestyle habits and holistic strategies.
My Approach
My style is warm, collaborative and rooted in evidence-based practice. You will find that I am easy to talk to and really care about your well-being. I will do my best to listen and understand you and find the right approach for you. I will provide education about your condition and what you can do to improve your overall health, as well as any mental health conditions you are struggling with. I will work with your support system, a therapist and other providers when needed to ensure that your treatment plan is personalized and comprehensive. Whether I’m supporting school aged kids dealing with ADHD, teens going through anxiety or adults navigating life transitions, my goal always remains helping my patients feel supported and empowered.
My Background
I completed my advanced nursing training at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) and have experience caring for children, teens, and adults across a wide range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, mood disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and schizoaffective disorders.
I am a mom to two amazing girls and 21 leafy companions. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me hiking, camping, or planning a picnic with my girls.
I look forward to the opportunity of being part of your mental health journey.
