Hi, I’m Jason! When I see you, I might give you a high five or a fist bump just to let you know how special you are and happy I am to see you. Whatever struggle life brings, I am here to help and guide you. I have over 10 years of experience working with teens, children and adults. I believe by working together we can address any issue and work through those big and confusing emotions. Whether it is adjusting to a new environment, leaving a relationship, beginning a new relationship, dealing with a new challenge, feeling a sense of loss, dealing with struggles in your family or personal life, talking with a therapist can assist in processing through your emotions and coming out a better and happier person on the other side.

Approach and Background

I teach various mindfulness techniques to stay grounded and present in the moment and teach many varied coping skills.  I incorporate play methods to teach teens and children concepts about the brain  and how to cope with life’s challenges.  I provide positive tools and interventions to repair damaged relationships and help create long lasting bonds. I understand family systems and dynamics as a result of my work with youth and their families and can assist you with your family and parenting concerns. I work on improving communication plays a key role in brain aligned techniques because it promotes healthy and positive family foundations.

My background and experience has been primarily gained in working with troubled youth in the alternative school setting and in military settings. In my time off, I enjoy family vacations, fishing, woodburning. I also proudly served in the military for 14 years.
